AMS-QQ-A-250/4, 2024 T81 재질은 강도가 높은 대표적인
Wrought Aluminum 으로, 두랄루민이라고도 부릅니다.

항복강도 400 MPa minimum 으로, 어지간한 탄소강재보다 강도가 높아,
ASTM A36, A992, A572-50, EN S355, JIS SM490YB 보다도 높은 강도입니다.

AMS-QQ-A-250/4, 2024 T81 재질의 강도는 Alloy 2017 보다는 높지만
Alloy 7075 초두랄루민 보다는 낮은, 비강도가 높은 금속입니다.

AMS-QQ-A-250/4 규정은 Alloy 2024 재질 규정으로, Plate, Sheet
형상의 제품에 대한 규정으로, 주로 항공기에 구조체로 쓰이는 재질입니다.

※ Aluminium Temper T8 meaning
Solution heat treated, cold worked and artificially aged
용체화 처리 후 냉간 가공을 하고, 다시 인공 경화 처리한 것을 말합니다.

※ Artificial ageing(precipitation heat treatment) : 인공 시효 (석출 열처리)

by precipitation of soluble constituents from the super-saturated solid solution

과포화 고용체로부터 가용 성분의 석출에 의한 강화를 위하여
상온 이상에서 합금을 열처리 하는 것을 말합니다.
