15-5PH H1025 는, 15% 수준의 Chromium, 5% 수준의 Nickel 합금입니다.
Copper (Cu)를 석출 경화 원소로 이용한 스텐레스입니다.

15-5PH H1025 에서 H1025 는 석출 경화 열처리 온도를 말합니다.
석출 경화 온도 1025℉ (550℃), 4시간 유지 후 공랭 하면

항복강도 1000 MPa minimum 강도와 HRC 35 minimum 강도입니다.
하지만 열처리 방법을 달리해서 Solution Treatment (Cond A) 이면

Rockwell C, Hardness 38 maximum 인 스텐레스 강재로 열처리에 방법에 따라,
열처리 온도, 열처리 유지 시간에 따라 기계적 성질을 달리하는 스텐레스 강종입니다.

AMS 5659 는, 소모 전극 재용해 (consumable remelted) 제조 방법과
석출 경화 (precipitation hardening) 열처리 한, 15Cr-4.5Ni-0.30Cb-3.5Cu

화학 조성을 가지는 Bar, Rod, 단조, 링 제품과 압출 제조 되는 스텐레스강으로
좋은 연성과 316℃까지 높은 강도와 내식성강에 대한 규정(15-5PH VAR/ESR)으로,

A694-XM-12-H1025, UNS S15500 재질에 대응되는 스텐레스 강재입니다.
15-5PH H1025 재질은 항공기용 landing gear components,

nuclear reactor components, shafts, gears, 화학 공업용으로
사용되지만, 높은 강도면서 어느 정도 내식성이 필요한 곳에 사용됩니다.

※ Vacuum melting (진공 용해)
Melting in a vacuum to prevent contamination from air, as well as to
remove gases already dissolved in the metal ; the solidification may
also be carried out on a vacuum or at low pressure.

※ 열처리( Heat Treatment : 熱處理)
철강재의 전체 또는 일부에 열 사이클을 적용하여 그 성질 또는 조직을 변화 시키는
일련의 작업으로, 철강재의 화학 조성은 이러한 작업 과정으로 변할 수 있습니다.
