Alloy 600 니켈 합금은, 고온에서 좋은 내산화성 성질이고,
부식성 물질과 고순도 물에서 발생할 수 있는 염화이온에 의한

응력 부식 균열과 부식에 대해 저항성 니켈 합금입니다.
Nickel Alloy 600 재질은 열처리에 의해 경화 되지 않고, 냉간 가공으로만

강도를 높일 수 있으며, 높은 강도와 좋은 작업성입니다.
Alloy 600 금속은 히터, 증류기, 콘덴서 용도로 사용하는 tube, pipe 로 사용하고

sheet, plate 제품의 Alloy 600 은, 열처리 산업, 항공기의 엔진 부품,
furnace components, 펄프 제조 공정에 사용됩니다.

NiCr15Fe, Inconel®600 — trademark of Special Metals 와 비교됩니다.

※ 냉간 가공 (Cold-working : 冷間 加工)
가공 경화가 나타나는 온도에서의 금속 또는 합금의 소성 변형을 말합니다.

A phenomenon in which materials are hardened due to the increase of
processing strain when the processes such as cold rolling, drawing
and the like are carried out during cooling.

인발, 냉간 압연과 같은 냉간 가공에 의한 금속 구조가 변화됨으로서
강도와 경도가 증가 되는 현상을 말합니다.
일반적으로 강도와 경도가 좋아지면, 연성은 감소합니다.

※ Stress corrosion (응력 부식 : 應力腐蝕)
부식과 인장 응력 또는 잔류 응력, 그리고 부식성 환경으로 인해
금속의 변형과 함께 발생하는 부식을 말합니다.
금속 표면에 거의 부식이 없지만 미세한 균열들이 금속
내부로 퍼짐에 따라 (전파에)따라, 설계 강도보다 훨씬 낮은
응력에서도 금속 파괴가 일어날 수 있습니다.
