C51900 금속은 인청동 (Phosphor Bronze) 로, 영국 규격에서는
영어 약자 첫머리만 따서 PB101, PB102, PB103, PB104 재질이 인청동 합금입니다.

ASTM 에서는 인청동 Plate, Sheet, Strip and Rolled Bar 제품은
ASTM B103 규정에 9가지 재질로 되어 있습니다.

Copper-Tin 합금인 청동에 많지도 않은 인 (P)를 0.03~0.35% 합금하면
자성도 없고, 내식성, 용접성이 좋고, 내피로성의 스프링 재료가 됩니다.

C51900 금속을 냉간 가공에 의한 가공 경화 효과로 Temper Hard 인 경우
항복강도 550 MPa minimum 수준의 높은 강도를 가지는 스프링 재료가 됩니다.

C51900 재질은 marine hardware and instrument components, electrical springs,
switch, bellows 용도이고, BS PB103, ISO CuSn6, EN CW452K 와 비교 가능합니다.

※ Fatigue Strength (피로 강도 : 疲勞强度)
A property of resistance for breaking to be generated by repeated stress
반복되는 응력으로 발생하는 파괴에 견디는 성질.

※ Fatigue test (피로 시험 : 疲勞試驗)
Test of determine fatigue life, fatigue limit, etc., by applying repeated
stresses or varying stresses to a test piece.
It is classified into torsion fatigue test, axial force fatigue test, rotating
bending fatigue test, plane bending fatigue test, etc., according to the
type of stresses applied.

시험편에 반복 응력 또는 변동 응력을 가하여, 피로 수명이나 피로 한도를
측정하는 시험으로, 응력의 종류에 따라, 비틀림, 축 하중, 회전 굽힘,
평면 굽힘 등의 시험이 있습니다.

※ Temper (질별 : 質別)
금속 또는 합금에 요구되는 특정한 물리적 및/또는 기계적 성질을
부여하는 공정으로 (예를 들어 기계적 처리 및/또는 열처리) 후의
제품의 상태를 말합니다.
