※ Sensitization (예민화 : 銳敏化)
Increase in the sensitivity of stainless steels to intergranular corrosion
due to the precipitation of carbides at the grain boundaries.
스테인레스 강에서 결정립계에 탄화물이 석출 됨으로서
입계 부식에 대한 민감도가 증가하는 현상을 말합니다.

※ Grain boundary (결정 입계 : 結晶粒界)
Interface separating two grains with different crystallographic orientations.
서로 다른 방위를 가진 두 결정 사이의 경계면.

※ 입계 부식 (Intergranular corrosion)
금속의 결정 입계 (Grain boundary) 또는 근처에서 발생하는 부식
