Bisalloy® 80 강재는 구조용 (structural) 고강도 강재입니다.
항복강도 690 MPa minimum 이고, -40℃ CVN Impact Test 강재입니다.

Quenching and Tempering 열처리 강재로, AS/NZS 3597 Gr.700 대응됩니다.
또한 Bisalloy® 80 강재는 EN 10025-6, S690 Grade 과 비교됩니다.

Bisalloy® 80 은, 강도로만 본다면 S355J2 강재의 두 배에 이르는 항복강도이고
CVN absorbed energy 온도에서도, 두 배의 내(耐) 저온 취성용 (LTS Steel) 강재입니다.

Bisalloy® 80 Steel 고항복점 강재는 건축물 기둥용 용접 H-Beam용 강판,
광산 장비와 운송 차량, 하역 장비, 덤프 트럭용 구조물 Beam 용도로 쓰입니다.

※ Charpy V-Notch Impact Test (CVN : 샤르피 충격 시험)
Test to measure the absorbed energy, impact value, percentage
of brittle/ductile fracture, transition temperature, etc. with using
charpy impact testing machine in which test piece is supported by
two supports distant by 40 mm so that the notch meets the middle
between supports and is broken by striking with one blow of
pendulum to the face opposite the notch.

샤르피 충격 시험기를 사용하여 시험편을 40mm 간격이 있는 두 개의
지지대에 올려 놓고, 또한 노치부를 지지대 사이의 중앙에 놓고
노치부의 뒷면을 해머로 1회만 충격을 주어, 시험편을 파단 시키고
흡수 에너지, 충격치, 파면율, 천이 온도 등을 측정하는 시험.

※ Brittleness (취성 : 脆性 : 메짐성)
The property of little deformability, hard and brittle in general,
It is usually compared by the strength of impact or the surface conditions of fracture.

20℃＜ 0℃＜ -20℃＜-40℃＜-60℃＜-100℃ 저온으로 가면 갈수록
Brittleness(취성 : 깨지는 성질)는 급격히 증가하며, 구조체의 안전을 확보해야 할
철강 구조체가, 온도가 내려가는 환경에서 버티는 성질이 중요합니다.
