ASTM A765 Grade 4 재질은 압력 용기용 열처리 합금강이면서
단조강으로 인성 (toughness — CVN test) 필수 조건의 강재 입니다.

A765 Grade 4 재질은 단조 후 Normalize and Temper, Double Normalized,
Quench and Temper 열처리 조건이 있을 수 있는 강재 입니다.

ASTM A765-4 재질은 CVN Test 가 있고, mandatory 조건입니다.
테스트 시편 3개 평균, -30℃에서 35 Joule minimum 입니다.

A765 Gr.4 단조강은 압력 용기, feed-water heaters 용도로 쓰이며.
tube sheets, rings, flanges, nozzles 제품 형상으로 가공됩니다.

※ Toughness (인성 : 靭性)
The degree of difficulty in occurring impact breaking
because of the material’s toughness .
질기고 세며, 충격 파괴를 일으키기 어려운지, 어떤지의 정도.

※ Impact Test (충격 시험 : 衝擊試驗)
Test of evaluating toughness or brittleness of materials to examine
the magnitude of absorbed energy, fracture appearance, deformation
behavior, crack propagation behavior, etc. in breaking test piece by
applying impact load.
According to the manners to apply impact load, there are various
test methods such as impact tensile, impact compression, impact
bending, impact torsion, etc.
Further, according to kinds of testing machine to be used, they
are also divided into charpy impact test, I-zod impact test, etc.

재료의 인성 또는 취성을 조사하기 위해, 시험편에 충격 하중을 가하여
파단 시키고, 소요된 에너지의 대소, 파면의 양산, 변형 거동, 균열의
진전 거동 등에 따라 평가를 하는 시험.
충격 하중 방법에 따라 충격 인장, 충격 압축, 충격 비틀림 시험 등이 있고
사용되는 시험기의 종류에 따라, 샤르피 충격 시험, 아이조드
충격 시험으로 구분됩니다.
