Titanium Grade 12 재질은 Unalloyed Titanium Grade 2, Grade 3 대비
Nickel, Molybdenum 원소 합금 티타늄입니다.

Titanium Grade 12 금속은 항복강도 345 MPa minimum 으로
Grade 2 — 275 MPa 보다는 높고, Grade 3 — 380 MPa 보다는 낮습니다.

기계적 성질이 더 높은 다른 티타늄 합금과 비교해 낮은 수준이지만
Ti-Gr.12 대비 낮은 티타늄 합금도 있어, 티타늄 합금으로는 중간 수준의 강도입니다.

Titanium Grade 12 합금은 우수한 냉간 성형성과 용접성과 내산화 저항성
특징이고, 비중 4.51 g/㎤, 발전소, 화학 공정, 담수화 설비에 사용됩니다.

Unalloyed Titanium Grade 2, Grade 3 대비, 뜨거운 염수에서도 틈 부식에
대한 내식성 향상 금속이고, 비합금 티타늄 대비, 우수한 내식성입니다.

Titanium Grade 12 은, Ti-0.8Ni-0.3Mo 화학 조성 표기하며 ASTM B338 –
Tubes for condensers and heat exchanger 와 Sheet, Plate and Bar 형상입니다.

※ Crevice corrosion (틈새 부식)
금속 표면과 다른 금속 (금속 또는 비금속) 사이에 형성된 작은 구멍이나
틈의 주변 가까이 또는 내부에서 발생하는 국부 부식.
