SWCH20K 재질은 냉간 압조용 탄소강 Wire 이면서 Killed Steel,
SWRCH20K 는, 냉간 압조용 Wire Rod 이면서 Killed Steel 입니다.

JIS G 3507-1 규정은 탄소강 냉간압조용 Wire Rod 규정이고
화학 성분만 있고, 기계적 성질이 없는 규정입니다.

JIS G 3507-2 규정은 탄소강 냉간 압조용 Wire 규정이고
화학 성분은 없고, 기계적 성질만 있는 재질입니다.

JIS G 3507-1 에는 “R”이 있는 — Rod 제품 규정이라서 SWRCH20K
JIS G 3507-2 에는 “R”이 빠진 — SWCK20K 와 같이 표기합니다.

SWRCH20K — Steel Wire Rod Cold Heading, 탄소량 0.20% 수준의 Killed Steel,
SWCH20K — Steel Wire Cold Heading, 탄소량 0.20% 수준의 Killed Steel 의미입니다.

※ 냉간 압조용 탄소강 선재 (冷間壓造用炭素鋼線材)

냉간 압조용 탄소강선재의 제조에 쓰이는 탄소강 선재,
탄소량 0.53% 이하 및 망간 1.65% 이하를 함유하며, 탈산의 방법에 따라서
림드강, 킬드강, 알루미늄 킬드강 등이 있습니다.

They contain carbon of 0.53% max. and manganese of 1.65% max.
and there are rimmed substitute steel (including rimmed steel) killed
steel and aluminum-killed steel according to the method of deoxidation.

시험편 파단 후의 최소 단면적과 그 원단면적의 차를
원단면적에 대한 백분율로 나타낸 것.
KS, JIS에서는 원형단면의 시험편에서 비율을 구한다.

※ Killed Steel (킬드강, 탈산강)
Steel sufficiently deoxidized with ferro-silicon, aluminium, and so on.
In the case of ingot casting, during the progress of solidification in a ingot mold,
it is gently solidified without generation of carbon monoxide,
being comparatively uniform, with little segregation and has no blow hole.
however, because of a shrinkage cavity is formed in the centre of upper part,
its yield is low, In the case of continuous casting, it is killed steel and,
comparing with an ingot casting, uniformity and yield better.
killed steel is further classified according to grain size or deoxidizer.

페로실리콘이나, 알루미늄 등으로 충분히 탈산한 강철로,
용탕이 응고 진행 중에 일산화 탄소를 발생 시키지 않고,
조용히 응고해, 비교적 균질하고, 편석이 적고, 기포도 없지만
응고된 강괴 윗부분 중심으로부터, 수축공이 생겨, 회수율이
좋지 못한 단점이 있고, 결정 입도, 탈산제에 따라 세부적으로 더 분류됩니다.

※ 탄소강에서는 산소를 강철을 약하게 만드는 불순물로 보고
탈산제를 이용해 강 (Steel) 내부의 산소를 제거함.
