S460M, S355ML 모두 EN 10025-4 유럽 재질 강재로, TMCP 생산입니다.
두 재질 모두 CVN absorbed energy test 가 있지만, 차이가 있습니다.

S460M 는 -20 ℃ 까지 충격 시험이 있고, S355ML 은, -50 ℃ 까지 입니다.
항복강도는 S460M — 460MPa, S355ML — 355 MPa 로

저온 충격 인성에서는 S355ML 이, upper 재질이지만
항복강도와 기계적 성질에서는 S460M 이, upper 재질이라는 차이가 있습니다.

S460M, S355ML 재질은 모두 용접 구조용 강재 규격이고
fine grain steel 이라는데서, S355J2 — kill steel 이라는 차이점도 있습니다.

※ Steels for low temperature service (저온용 강재, 低溫用鋼材 : LTS 강재)
Steel products manufactured for the pressure vessels and structures
used at a low temperature which required toughness at a low
temperature and weldability.
There are carbon steel, low alloy steel, 2.5% nickel steel, 3.5 nickel steel
9% nickel steel, austenitic stainless steel, etc. according to use temperature.

저온하에서 쓰이는 용기, 설비 및 구조재로서 저온 인성 및 용접성을 중시해서
제조 된 강재로, 사용 온도에 따라 탄소강, 저합금강, 2.5% 니켈강, 3.5% 니켈강
9% 니켈강, 오스테나이트 스테인레스강이 있습니다.

※ Impact Test (충격 시험 : 衝擊試驗)
Test of evaluating toughness or brittleness of materials to examine
the magnitude of absorbed energy, fracture appearance, deformation
behavior, crack propagation behavior, etc. in breaking test piece by
applying impact load.
According to the manners to apply impact load, there are various
test methods such as impact tensile, impact compression, impact
bending, impact torsion, etc.
Further, according to kinds of testing machine to be used, they
are also divided into charpy impact test, I zod impact test, etc.

재료의 인성 또는 취성을 조사하기 위해, 시험편에 충격 하중을 가하여
파단 시키고, 소요된 에너지의 대소, 파면의 양산, 변형 거동, 균열의
진전 거동 등에 따라 평가를 하는 시험.
충격 하중 방법에 따라 충격 인장, 충격 압축, 충격 비틀림 시험 등이 있고
사용되는 시험기의 종류에 따라, 샤르피 충격 시험, 아이조드
충격 시험으로 구분됩니다.
