A572-65 재질은 저합금이면서, 열처리 없이도 최소 항복강도 450 MPa 에
이르는 고강도 강재로 구조용으로, A572,  5개 Grade 중 가장 강도가 높습니다.

일반 구조용 ASTM A36 탄소강 강재 — 항복강도 250 MPa minimum
EN 10025 S355J2 탄소강 강재 — 항복강도 355 MPa minimum 과 비교하면

A572-65 강재의 높은 기계적 성질을 알 수 있고, A572-65 강재에는 결정립 미세화
원소인 Niobium, 공구강에 합금 원소인 Vanadium 을, 합금 된 재질입니다.

A572-65 고강도 강재는 Cb, V, Ti, N 합금원소를 어떻게 합금하는가에 따라
Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, Type 5, 4가지로 구분됩니다.

※ Vanadium (V) – increases shock resistance, strength, and hardness.
Retards grain growth even after exposure to high temperatures.
바나듐 원소는 경도와 강도, 충격 저항성을 높이고,
고온에서 결정립의 성장을 지연 시키는 원소입니다.

※ Niobium (Nb)
니오븀을 강에 합금 하면 경절립의 미세화로 강도 향상에 기여하며
고온 강도와 크리프 성능을 향상시키는 역할을 합니다.

※ Grain (결정립 : 結晶粒)
