AMS 4006 규정은 Aluminum Alloy 3003 Temper O (3003-O)
풀림 열처리 된 판재와 Sheet 형상 제품에 대한 규정입니다.

AMS 4006 알루미늄 합금은 상업적으로 생산 유통되는 순 알루미늄에
Manganese 1.25% 수준 합금한 Al-Mn, 3000 series 합금입니다.

3000 series 알루미늄 합금은 알루미늄에 망간을 1~2% 수준의 합금체로
가공 경화 정도에 따라, 항복강도 30~165 MPa 수준인 재료입니다.

알루미늄에서 망간 원소는 알루미늄의 내식성을 저하 시키지 않으면서
결정립의 미세화와 강도의 향상을 가져오는 효과가 있어 합금합니다.

Commercially pure 알루미늄 1100-0 재질의 항복강도 25 MPa minimum 일때
3300-0 는 35 MPa 로, 이는 망간 합금에 따른 기계적 성질 향상입니다.

AMS 4006 재질은 ASTM B209 Alloy 3003-O 재질에 대응되며 재질 특징은
좋은 내식성과 성형성으로, 음료 용기, 방열판, 선박용, 주방용, 화학 용기로 쓰입니다.

※ Mechanical properties (기계적 성질 : 機械的性質)
Various properties relating to mechanical deformation and
breaking such as tensile strength, yield point or proof strength,
elongation, reduction of area, hardness, impact value,
fatigue strength, creep strength, etc.

인장강도, 항복점, 연신율, 단면 수축율, 경도, 충격치, 피로 강도,
크리프 강도 등 기계적인 변형 및 파괴에 관계되는 성질을 말합니다.

※ Grain (결정립 : 結晶粒)

Steel with a small grain size (high number of ASTM Standard)
has a high tensile strength and a high toughness.
