ASTM A582 규정은 고온 환경에 내열성이면서 내식성을 가지는
스텐레스 쾌삭강 재질만 나타나는 규정으로 A582-430F 재질이 있습니다,

A582-430F 강재는 페라이트 스텐레스로, 황쾌삭 스텐레스강입니다.
황은 쾌삭강이 아니라면, 강이나 금속에 0.050% maximum 으로 관리하는

비금속 개재물이지만, 황을 합금함으로, 쾌삭 성질을 얻을 수 있기에
A582-430F 에는, 쾌삭강 (free cutting steel)원소 황을 0.06% minimum 합금 했습니다.

A582-430F 는, 환봉, 육각, 각강 형상이고, A582 규정에서는 화학 조성과
경도만 나타나고, 기계적 성질은 나타나지 않고, 파스너, 기어, 솔레노이드 용도입니다.

ASTM A582-430F 재질은 JIS G 4303 SUS 430F, EN 1.4104, X10CrS17
미국 연방 규격 QQ-S-763, QQ-S-764 재질과 비교 가능합니다.

※ Ferritic Heat Resisting Steels
Heat resisting steels with ferritic structure
Generally, they have characteristics of small thermal stress
due to the small coefficient of thermal expansion and
large thermal conductivity, and of high creep strength
and high yield point at high temperature.

페라이트조직을 가지는 내열강. 일반적으로 열팽창계수가 작고,
열전도도가 큼으로 열응력이 작으며, 높은 크립 강도,
고온에서 고항복점을 가지는 특징이 있습니다.

※ Sulfur (S)
Generally regarded as an impurity in steel as it can have detrimental
effects on strength, ductility, and weldability as well as producing
hot and cold shortness.
Its content in most steels is limited to a maximum of 0.050%.
Sulphur is beneficial to machining and is added to free-cutting steels
in amounts up to 0.35% with the manganese content increased
to overcome any detrimental effects.

황은 강에 대부분 나쁜 영향을 주는 원소로 적열 취성이나 청열 취성과
용접성, 연성, 강도에 부정적인 영향을 주는 원소로 최대 0.050% 로 제한합니다.
황을 최대 0.35% 수준까지 합금 하면 강에 쾌삭성을 부여하고
황의 부정적 영향을 상쇄 시키려고 망간 함량을 높입니다.
