SA210-C 재질은 보일러와 Super-heater (과열기)에 사용하는
Seamless Tubes 로, 탄소량 0.35% maximum 인 중탄소강입니다.

SA210-C 튜브는 외경 12.7 ~127.0 mm, 두께 0.9~12.7 mm 까지이고
항복강도 275 MPa minimum 으로, 강도로만 보면 KS SS275 급입니다.

탄소량만으로 보면 SA210-C 재질은 S30C 수준의 탄소량으로 중탄소강재입니다.
SA210-C 와 SA210 A-1 재질을 비교하면 SA210-C 재질이, 항복강도에서 10% 수준 높습니다.

SA210-C 항복강도 275 MPa minimum
SA210 A-1 항복강도 255 MPa minimum 입니다.

ASME SA210-C 재질은 Seamless Tube 이고 ASME SA178-C 재질은
용접관이라는 차이가 있지만, 강도와 기계적 성질은 같습니다.

※ Carbon Steel (탄소강 : 炭素鋼) – AISI Definition)
Generally speaking carbon steels contain up to 2% total alloying
elements, and can be subdivided into as following categories
Low-carbon steels (저탄소강), which contain up to 0.30% Carbon
Medium-carbon steels (중탄소강), which contain 0.30% to 0.60% Carbon
High-carbon steels (고탄소강), which contain 0.60% to 1.00% Carbon

※ Mechanical properties (기계적 성질 : 機械的性質)
Various properties relating to mechanical deformation and
breaking such as tensile strength, yield point or proof strength,
elongation, reduction of area, hardness, impact value,
fatigue strength, creep strength, etc.

인장강도, 항복점, 연신율, 단면 수축율, 경도, 충격치, 피로 강도,
크리프 강도 등 기계적인 변형 및 파괴에 관계되는 성질을 말합니다.

※ Tensile Strength — DIN EN
Measures the engineering stress applied at the point when it fails.
The maximum amount tensile stress is called “Tensile strength”
It is determined by the tensile test.
Years ago a lot of construction steels were named according to their tensile strength.
For example St37 (tensile strength is 370 N/㎟) or St52 (tensile strength 520 N/㎟).
Nowadays they changed their designation and method has been
changed and yield strength is used.
For example S355JR (yield strength is 355 N/㎟) or S420 (yield strength 420 N/㎟).
