AMS-DTL-22499 규정은 주로 항공기용으로 쓰이는 Shim 재료로
간격이나 유격 조정용으로 쓰이는 적층 재료를 말합니다.

SAE-AMS-DTL-22499 Comp3 이전 규격은 MIL-DTL-22499 Comp3이고
탄소강, 스텐레스, 황동, 알루미늄, 폴리이미드 적층 (積層) 재료에 대한 규정입니다.

Comp 3 (Composition 3) 은 스텐레스 재질을 의미하고, Comp 1 은
알루미늄 재질을, Comp 2 는 Brass (황동 재질) 적층판을 의미합니다.

Type 1 은 판 자체를 전체 적층판을 의미하고 Type 2 는, 1/2 Solid Stock,
Type 3 은, 3/4 Solid Stock 으로 구성 된 적층판을 말합니다.

Class 1 은, 적층 Foil 로 사용되는 재료의 두께가 0.002″ (0.0508 mmt)
Class 2 는, Laminated Foil 원재료 두께가 0.003″ (0.0762 mmt) 재료 입니다.

따라서 AMS-DTL-22499 Comp 3, Type 1, Class 1 로 표기되는 경우
Grade 302 스텐레스로 된, 전체 포일 적층판이고, 포일 두께 0.002″ 로 된 제품입니다.

Grade 302 스텐레스 (type 302 , 304, 316L 등) 재질인 경우는 Condition A 조건
Temper 로, 이는 Annealed 처리된 스텐레스를 말합니다.

※ 박 (箔 : Foil)

international harmonization) There is an overlap in the thickness range
0.15~0.2 mm defined for foil and sheet. Foil products in this gauge are
supplied to foil product specifications.
두께 0.2 mm 보다 작은 균일한 직사각 단면을 가지는 압연 제품을 말합니다.
