BS S144D 재질은 영국 규격의 항공기용 규격 스텐레스입니다.
석출 경화 (precipitation hardening) 열처리로 높은 기계적 성질입니다.

항복강도 1030 MPa minimum 의 고강도 강재로 항공기 부품, 방위 산업,
자동차, 정밀 부품으로 사용되며, 강도는 높지만 스텐레스로 보면

내식성은 중간 수준이고, BS S143, S145 재질과 화학 원소는 같지만
열처리에 의해 BS S143 보다 높은 항복강도와 인장강도입니다.

BS S144D 재질은 Bright Round-Bar 형상으로 표면 마무리 제품이고
FV520B, Def Stan 95-14 재질과 비교 가능합니다.

※ Precipitation Hardening Steels (석출 경화 : 析出硬化)
Steels with the property of being hardened by a method wherein
a small amount of elements such as aluminium, copper, etc.
is added and compounds of those elements or the like are
precipitated by heat treatment

알루미늄, 구리 등의 원소를 소량 첨가하고, 열처리에 의해
이들 원소 화합물을 석출 시켜, 경화 하는 성질을 지니게 한 강.

※ 석출 열처리 (인공 시효) : Precipitation Heat Treatment : 析出熱處理 (人工時效)
A heat treatment in which the fine secondary phase is precipitated from
the supersaturated solid solution by heating at room temperature or higher.

과포화 고용체로부터 가용 성분의 석출에 의한 강화를 위하여
상온 이상에서 합금을 열처리 하는 것을 말합니다

※ Peeled Bar
특수강, 스테인레스 압연 봉강의 표면을 연속, 선삭 가공으로
강재 표면의 스케일, 미세 결함을 제거해, 보다 정밀한 치수와
진원도를 향상 시킨 고품질의 표면 무결점 봉강을 말합니다.
우수한 표면 조도를 가지며, 추가적인 교정 가공 없이 사용 가능합니다.

JIS에서는 마봉강(麻棒鋼)이라고 하고, DIN-EN은 Bright Bar 라고 하며
Bright Bar에는 Drawn, Ground, Turned products 를 포함하며
Peeled Bar 는 Turned Bar 에 포함됩니다.

The peeled bar refers to a high quality bar with a precise measure
and enhanced roundness that is produced by continuous turning
the surface and thus removing meticulous defects from the surface.
