17-4PH H1100 재질은 항복강도 800 MPa 이상의 고강도 강재입니다.
Precipitation Hardening (석출 경화) 열처리 효과로 높은 강도가 됩니다.

17-4PH H1100 강재에는 nominal 4% 수준의 Copper (Cu) 원소가 합금 되고
구리 원소가 석출에 의한 기계적 성질을 높이는 작용을 합니다.

17-4PH H1100 스텐은 높은 강도와 내식성 특징인 강재로 우주 항공용,
화학 산업, 석유화학과 높은 기계적 강도가 필요한 부품으로 사용됩니다.

17-4PH H1100, 에서, H1100 은, 1100℉ (595℃) 의, 비교적 낮은 온도에서
4시간 공냉 조건의 hardening or aging treatment 를 나타내는 약호입니다.

※ Precipitation Hardening Steels (석출 경화 : 析出硬化)
Steels with the property of being hardened by a method wherein
a small amount of elements such as aluminium, copper, etc.
is added and compounds of those elements or the like are
precipitated by heat treatment.

알루미늄, 구리 등의 원소를 소량 첨가하고, 열처리에 의해
이들 원소 화합물을 석출 시켜 경화 하는 성질을 지니게 한 강.

※ Precipitation (석출 : 析出)
A phenomenon in which a crystal of a different phase is
separated from a solid solution and grows.

※ Aging (시효 : 時效)
A phenomenon in which, after cooling or cold working, the properties
of steel (for example, hardness) are changed with a lapse of time.
This may sometimes be used as an operation intended only for age hardening.

시효 처리는 열처리 합금의 석출 경화 과정을 의미하며 열처리 온도에 따라
자연 시효 (Natural Aging)과 인공 시효 (Artificial Aging) 으로 구분되며
자연 시효 (Natural Aging)는 상온에서 일정 시간 유지하는 열처리이고
인공 시효 (Artificial Aging)는 석출물의 빠른 발현 진행 시키려고 하는
고온에서 일정 시간 유지하는 열처리를 의미합니다.
