BS S130D 재질은 영국 규격의 오스테나이트 스텐레스입니다.
Niobium 또는 Columbium 라고 부르는 원소를 합금한 특징입니다.

스텐레스 결정입계에 카바이트 석출에 의한 예민화 영향으로 부식이
발생하는 현상을 억제하려고 니오븀을 합금한 재질입니다.

BS S130D 재질은 내식성이 필요하고 심한 용접을 하는 설비에 사용하며
430~820 ℃ 환경에 사용 가능하고, 항공기 규격으로 배기관 부분에 사용합니다.

BS S130D 재질은 AMS 5646, 재질과 대응되며,성형성이 좋고, 비자성 (non-magnetic),
열처리에 의해 강도가 높아지지 않고, 냉간 (strain hardening)으로 높이는 재질입니다.

※ Strain hardening (가공 경화)
Modification of a metal structure by cold working, resulting in an increase in strength
and hardness, generally with some loss of ductility.

냉간 가공에 의한 금속 조직의 변화로 강도와 경도의 증가를 유발하며
일반적으로 연성이 감소되는 현상이 있습니다.

강재를 냉간 인발, 연삭, 절삭, 센터리스 또는 이들의 조합으로
마무리한 봉강으로, 봉강 뿐 아니라, 원형, 정방형,
육각형, 장방형 및 이형 등이 있습니다.

※ 니오븀 (Nb : Niobium) 또는 Columbium (Cb)
크롬이 탄소와 결합해 Cr 탄화물로 형성 되 크롬 고갈에 따른 입계 부식 발생될 것을 크롬보다
탄소와 친화력이 큰 Niobium 합금으로, NbC 라는 탄화물을 형성해, 크롬 고갈 방지함으로
내입계 부식성 개선, 결정립 미세화, 고온 강도, 크리프 특성을 향상 시키는 원소입니다.

※ Sensitization (예민화 : 銳敏化)

due to the precipitation of carbides at the grain boundaries.
