Inconel® Alloy 718 합금은 시효 경화 열처리로 높은 강도가 가능한
Ni-Cr-Fe-Mo 합금으로, ST (Solution Treatment) or 시효 경화 조건입니다.

Inconel® Alloy 718 은 Special Metals trademark 로, 1000℃ 수준까지 내산화성
700℃ 수준까지 좋은 크리프 강도, 극저온에서도 사용 가능한 니켈 합금입니다.

ASTM B637 N07718, EN 2.4668 – NiCr19Fe19Nb5Mo3 재질과 대응되며
R-Bar 제품은 fasteners, 항공기의 가스 터빈 부품, 회전체 (rotating)부품으로 쓰입니다.

열처리로는 ST (Solution Annealed Heat Treatment) : 924~1010℃, hold 1/2h min.
Aged (Precipitation Hardening) : 718±14℃ hold 8h, furnace cool 621±14℃ hold 14h.

※ Solution annealing (용체화 어닐링 (풀림)
high temperature followed by cooling sufficiently rapidly to preserve
a homogeneous austenitic structure on return to ambient temperature.

오스테나이트 강을 고온으로 가열한 후, 빠르게 냉각함으로서
상온에서도 오스테나이트 조직이 되도록 하는 열처리를 말합니다.
상온 또는 상온에 가까운 온도에서 용질 원자의 확산이 일어나게 함으로
철강재의 성질을 개선하는 현상.

※ Aging treatment (시효처리 : Precipitation Hardening : 석출 경화)

Note : It consists of heating to and socking at one or more
specified temperature, followed by appropriate cooling.

철강재가 필요한 성질을 가지도록 용체화 처리한 뒤에 적용하는 열처리.
이 처리는 가열한 뒤 정해진 하나 또는 두 온도에서 일정 시간 유지하는
균열화 처리 후 적절하게 냉각하는 공정으로 이루어집니다.
