STS430F, KS D 3706 재질은 스텐레스 강봉 규격의 쾌삭성 스텐레스입니다.
STS430 대비 쾌삭성 원소인 Sulfur 함량을, 훨씬 많이 합금한 재료로

일반적인 스텐은 황 0.030% 수준이지만, STS430F 는, 0.15 minimum 입니다.
인(P)도, 대개의 스텐은 0.045% 수준이지만 STS430F 는, 0.060 max. 입니다.

황을 주요 쾌삭성 원소로 사용해, fasteners, bolts, nuts 용도로 사용합니다.
페라이트 스텐레스로, 페라이트의 주요 특징은 18 Chromium 합금으로

마르텐자이트계보다 내식성은 좋지만, 오스테나이트 보다는 떨어지고,
열팽창계수가 작아, 고온에서 표면 scale 이 적고, 내산화성 재료입니다.

※ Sulfur (S)
Generally regarded as an impurity in steel as it can have detrimental
effects on strength, ductility, and weldability as well as producing
hot and cold shortness.
Its content in most steels is limited to a maximum of 0.050%.
Sulphur is beneficial to machining and is added to free-cutting steels
in amounts up to 0.35% with the manganese content increased
to overcome any detrimental effects.

황은 강에 대부분 나쁜 영향을 주는 원소로 적열 취성이나 청열 취성과
용접성, 연성, 강도에 부정적인 영향을 주는 원소로 최대 0.050% 로 제한합니다.
황을 최대 0.35% 수준까지 합금 하면 강에 쾌삭성을 부여하고
황의 부정적 영향을 상쇄 시키려고 망간 함량을 높입니다.
STS430F 에서는 망간 함량이 1.25 max 로, 다른 스텐레스 1.00 max. 보다 높습니다.

※ Phosphorus (P : 燐)
The presence of this element in steel is usually regarded as an
undesirable impurity due to its embrittling effect. In most steels
it is limited to a maximum of 0.050%.

인 (燐)은 금속에 취성 성질을 주는 불순 원소로 취급되고
대부분의 강(鋼)에서는 최대 0.050% 까지로 제한합니다.
