AMS 5891 금속은 60% 수준의 Nickel 원소를 Base-Metal 로 하는, 내열 금속으로
단조재, Bars, 링 형상의 제품으로, 60Ni-22Cr-2.0Mo-14W-0.35Al-0.03La 화학 조성입니다.

AMS 5891 은 내식성과 내열성 특징으로, 1149℃ (2100℉) 수준까지 내산화성이고
고온에서 내크리프성과 내피로성, 질화와 탄화에 대해 오랜 시간 저항성입니다.

AMS 5891 규정 금속은 ASTM B572-N06230 — Rods, EN 2.4733 재질과
대응되며, Solution Annealed 조건에서 760 MPa min. 고인장강도입니다.

이와 같은 특징으로, 터빈 엔진의 덕트, 제철, 제강 설비 부품, 화염으로부터 보호막,
진공 열처리 부품, 터빈 엔진의 연소실 라이닝, 써머커플의 보호관으로 사용됩니다.

AMS 5891 — Bar and Forging, AMS 5878 — Sheet, Strip, and Plate 로
제품 형상에 따라 구분되고, Haynes®230® — trademark 입니다.

※ Nitriding (질화 : 窒化)
Thermochemical treatment which is applied to a ferrous product
in order to produce surface enrichment in nitrogen
The medium in which the nitriding takes place shall be
specified e.g. gas, plasma, etc.

철강재 표면의 질소 농도를 높이는 열 화학적 처리.
질화에 사용되는 매질은 가스, 플라즈마 등으로 표시해야 한다.
표면 경화 방법의 한가지 종류입니다.

※ Solution annealing (용체화 어닐링 (풀림)
Heat treatment applied to austenitic steels, consisting of heating to a
high temperature followed by cooling sufficiently rapidly to preserve
a homogeneous austenitic structure on return to ambient temperature.

오스테나이트 강을 고온으로 가열한 후, 빠르게 냉각함으로서
상온에서도 오스테나이트 조직이 되도록 하는 열처리를 말합니다.
