AMS 5832 규정 금속은 내열성과 내식성을 가지는 welding wire 로
소모 전극 또는 진공 유도 용해로 생산되는 52.5% nickel-base 합금입니다.

AMS 5832 합금은 Alloy 718, ASTM B637 N07718 과 대응되며
석출 경화 효과에 의한 높은 강도, 극저온에서 부터 649℃ 수준까지 사용됩니다.

AMS 5832 니켈 합금은 높은 stress-rupture 강재로 649℃에서
최소 23시간, 690 MPa minimum 의 높은 조건, 비중 8.19 g/㎤ 재료입니다.

AMS 5832 재질의 높은 강도와 용접후 크랙 저항성, 내피로성, 크리프 (creep)강도
특징으로, 항공기용, 가스 터빈, 스프링용, 방위 산업, 발전소 용도로 사용됩니다.

※ Stress-Rupture Test
A tension test performed at constant temperature, the load being
held at such a level as to cause rupture.
인장시험으로 일정 온도에서 하중을 줘, 파괴를 일으키는 시험을 말합니다.

※ Creep Strength Materials
Steels, nickel alloy, cobalt alloy with minimum 8% chromium, which
are characterized by good mechanical behavior at temperature above
500℃ under long-range service conditions, i.e. primarily by creep strength
to 1% plastic strain or creep rupture strength during long-time stressing.

적어도 크롬 8% 이상 합금강, 니켈 합금, 코발트 합금으로 500℃ 이상에서
오랜 시간 사용해도 좋은 기계적 성질을 보이는 금속으로, 다시 말하면
1% 소성 변형 또는 오랜 시간 응력이 작용하는 크립 파단 강도가 있는 금속을 말합니다.
