Mu-Metal® 은, 자기 차폐 금속으로, Nickel 80% 합금 재료입니다.
연자성 Ni-Fe 합금체이면서, 고투자율 (high permeability) 합금입니다.

뮤메탈은 낮은 자기장에서 높은 투자율과 자기 차폐 효과가 가능한 재료로
높은 초투자율, 최대 투자율과 함께 낮은 이력 손실 (hysteresis lose) 입니다.

Mu-Metal® — trademark of Magnetic Shield Corporation 이고, annealed 조건에서
최대 투자율 재료가 되며, 밀폐 용기, 실린더, 캔, 찬넬, 3D 박스로 가공이 용이합니다.

뮤메탈은 sheet 또는 코일재인 경우는 두께0.36~3 mm, 포일은 0.05~0.3 mm
Plate 인 경우는 5 mm, rod 는, 외경 6.35~20 3 mm 수준입니다.

균일하게 자화 된 시료의 단위 면적당의 자속으로 단위는 테슬라 (T)를 사용합니다.

※ Permeability (투자율 : 透磁率)
Ratio of magnetic flux to magnetizing force.
Usually, initial and maximum permeabilities are used.
자화력에 대한 자속 밀도의 비를 말하며
통상적으로 초투자율과 최대 투자율이 사용됩니다.

※ Coercive force (보자력 : 保磁力)
Magnetizing force Hc at which the magnetic flux
density vanishes on the hysteresis loop.
이력 곡선에서 자속 밀도가, 0 에 상당하는 자화력 Hc.
