ASME SB443 규정은 Ni-Cr-Mo-Cb 합금인 UNS N06625
판과 쉬트, 스트립 형상 제품을 규정하고 있는 재질로

SB443 Grade 1 — Annealed 조건에 593℃ 사용 권장 재질과
SB443 Grade 2 — Solution Annealed — 593℃ 이상의 환경에서

사용하는 크리프와 파단에 저항성을 가지는 재질입니다.
SB443 Gr.1, SB443 Gr.2 재질 모두 내식성과 고온 내산화성, 내탄화성 재질입니다.

해수에 대해서 공식이나 틈 부식에 대해 극히 우수하고
염화물 응력 부식 (chloride stress corrosion cracking) 염려가 없습니다.

SB443 Gr.1, SB443 Gr.2 의 이러한 특성으로, 해상이나 바닷물 속의 장비,
선박, 방위 산업용, 스프링, 벨로우즈, 파스너 용도로 사용됩니다.

※ Solution annealing (용체화 어닐링(풀림)
Heat treatment applied to austenitic steels, consisting of heating to a
high temperature followed by cooling sufficiently rapidly to preserve
a homogeneous austenitic structure on return to ambient temperature.

오스테나이트 강을 고온으로 가열한 후, 빠르게 냉각함으로서
상온에서도 오스테나이트 조직이 되도록 하는 열처리를 말합니다.

※ Creep resistance (내크리프성)
a property of resistance against a phenomenon in which
strain in the lapse of time under a fixed stress at a high
temperature called high temperature creep.

고온의 일정한 압력을 받는 환경에서 물질의 변형이 시간이 경과함에 따라
증가하는 현상을 고온 크립이라고 하고, 이에 견디는 성질을 말합니다.

※ Oxidation resistance (내산화성 : 耐酸化性)
A property of oxidation resistance at a high temperature.
고온에서 산화 (철의 부식)에 견디는 성질입니다.
