STS303Se 재질은 쾌삭 스텐레스입니다.
Selenium (Se) 원소를 0.15% minimum 합금한 재질로

세레늄을 강에 합금 하면, 쾌삭성능을 얻을 수 있습니다.
Lead (Pb)를 합금 해도 쾌삭성을 확보할 수 있고, 황이나 인을 합금 해도

쾌삭성을 얻을 수 있지만, STS303Se 재질은 쾌삭 원소가 세레늄입니다.
KS 에서 스텐레스 환봉 규격은 KS D 3706 에 규정에 있고

KS D 3706 STS303Se 재질은 다른 오스테나이트계 수준의 기계적 성질이지만
KS D 7202 STS303Se 는, 냉간 인발에 의한 가공 경화 효과로

인장강도 795~1000 MPa 에, 이르는 wire 규정이므로
STS303Se 재질 선정시, Round-Bar 또는 Wire 인지, 주의해야 합니다.

ASTM 에서는 쾌삭 스텐레스 규정을 별도로 두어, ASTM A582-303Se 이고
ASTM-303Se 은, Annealed 조건에서 Hardness HBW 262 max 규정만 있습니다.

※ Free cutting steels (Resulfurized : 쾌삭강, 快削鋼) — KS/JIS
Steels to which free cutting properties is improved by
individual or combined addition of phosphorus (P), sulfur (S),
lead (Pb), selenium (Se), tellurium (Te), calcium (Ca), etc.

인, 황, 납, 셀레늄, 텔루륨, 칼슘 등을 단독 또는 복합으로
첨가하여, 피삭성 (被削性)을 높인 강.

※ Free cutting steels (쾌삭강 : 快削鋼) — EN
Steels with a minimum sulfur content of at least, in general, 0.1%
are regarded as free-cutting steels.
적어도 황이 0.1% 이상인 강재를 쾌삭강이라고 합니다.
