SUS420J2 재질은 마르텐자이트 스텐레스로, 오스테나이트계 스텐레스
SUS304, SUS316 과 다르게, 열처리에 의해 강도를 높일 수 있습니다.

SUS420J2 스텐의 탄소량이 0.33% 수준으로, 304, 316 스텐레스 0.08% 와
비교하면 무척 높은 수준으로, 경화성 높은 크롬 원소 합금에 의해

Annealed 조건에서는 HBW 235 maximum 의 경도 값이지만
Quenching and Tempering 열처리에 의해 HRC 40 minimum 의 고경도입니다.

SUS420J2 강재는 열처리로 높은 강도와 경도가 가능한 재질이지만
내식성에서는 SUS304, SUS316 재료보다는 내식성이 떨어짐을 감안해야 합니다.

SUS420J2 재질은 마르텐자이트 13Cr 스텐레스로, 용접성은 좋지 않고
높은 경도와 강도로, 공구강, 의료용 기구, 기계 구조 용도로 쓰입니다.

※ Hardness (경도 : 硬度)
Resistance to plastic deformation usually by indentation.
For steel users, it is a parameter to express different mechanical
properties of steel. It should be considered together with other
properties. For example, if two different steel grades have both
50 HRC hardness, it does not necessary mean both have the
same mechanical properties or wear resistance.

압인이나 긁힘에 의한 변형, 특히 영구적인 변형에 대한 재료의
내구성으로 강재의 기계적 성질의 지표입니다.
다른 강재가, 같은 경도 값을 가지더라도 내마모성, 기계적 성질이
다를 수 있으니, 경도와 함께 다른 기계적 성질도 참고해야 합니다.

※ Chromium (Cr : 크롬)
When used as an alloying element, chromium increases the hardenability of steel
and in association with high carbon gives resistance to wear and abrasion.
Chromium has an important effect on corrosion resistance and is present
in stainless steels in amounts of 11.5-20%.

크롬은 강에 합금 원소로 사용되며, 크롬량이 증가하면 경화성이 높아지고
고탄소강에는 내마모 성질을 부여합니다. 크롬은 스텐레스강에서 가장
중요한 원소로 11.5~20% 수준 합금되, 내식 성질을 부여합니다.
