C3604BD 금속은 Lead (납) 합금 황동 재료 규격입니다.
동과 탄소강, 합금강에 납을 합금 하면 재료의 물성을 크게 해치지 않으면서

고속 자동 선반에서 절삭 가능한, 높은 쾌삭 성능을 부여하므로, 합금 합니다.
납이 C3604BD 금속 조직 안에 고용되지 않고 유리 (遊離 : 따로 존재함)되어

잘 절삭 되는 특징이 있는 동합금이 됩니다.
C3604BD 의 “BD”는 Bar Drawn 약자로 인발 환봉 재료를 의미하고

C3604BD-F 안 경우 “F”는 As Fabricated 로, 열처리가 없으며
C3604 환봉 재료 규격에서는 Temper F – C3604BD-F 만 규정 재질입니다.

인장강도 335 MPa minimum 으로, 쾌삭 황동 C3601~C3605
5가지 재질 중, Temper F 로는 높은 인장강도 재질입니다.

탄소강 강재 SS400 — 인장강도 최소 400 MPa 보다는 낮고
황동 C2800-F 재질 인장강도 최소 315 MPa 보다는 높은 재료입니다.
