동합금 Copper Alloy C260 재질은 황동 (brass) 으로 Copper 70%,
Zinc (아연) 30% 수준 합금으로 CuZn30, cartridge brass 라고 부릅니다.

Alloy C260 합금은 가공용 합금으로 대표적인 재질로, Temper : Half Hard (H02)는
인장강도 395~460 의 높은 강도와 냉간 가공성이 좋은 동합금입니다.

가공성이 좋아서 심가공 (deep drawing) 가능하고, 용접성도 좋은 재질입니다.
다만 암모니아 환경에서 season cracking 현상이 있을 수 있는 재질입니다.

※ Deep Drawability (심가공성)
The degree that the material on the surface on dies is drawn
in to the hole, They may be classified into drawability,
deep drawability, and extra deep drawability.

가공 될 소재가 다이스 금형 구멍 안에서 조리개 가공 될 수 있는 정도를
의미하며, 그 정도에 따라, 가공성, 심가공성, 초심가공성으로 구별합니다.

※ 냉간가공 (Cold-working : 冷間加工)
가공 경화가 나타나는 온도에서의 금속 또는 합금의 소성 변형을 말합니다
