Grade 4130 합금은 크롬과 몰리브덴 합금강으로, QT 열처리성이 높고
노말라이징 (불림 열처리), 어닐링 (풀림) 열처리 하거나 As rolled 조건 등

다양한 열처리 온도에서 강판의 기계적 성질이 달라질 수 있느 재질입니다.
Normalizing (870℃) 조건에서는 항복강도 436 MPa 수준이지만

QT (템퍼링 1000℉) 열처리 하면 항복강도가 2배 이상 높아져 910 MPa 에도 이릅니다.
As rolled 조건에서는 개략 214 HB (ASTM E10 기준 HB 241 maximum) 입니다.

Grade 4130 강재는 항공기강 (Aircraft Quality : 4130AQ) 규정 적용이 되는 경우 강재의
청정성 검사, 자분 탐상 검사 AMS 2301 검사와 비파괴 검사인 UT 검사가 있을 수 있습니다.

※ Magnetic Particle Testing (자분 탐상 시험 : 磁分探傷試驗)
철강 재료 등 강자성체를 자화 시켜, 결함부에 생긴 자극 (磁極)에 의한 자분의
부착을 이용하여 결함을 검출하는 비파괴 시험을 말합니다.

and steel is magnetized and sticking of magnetic particles to magnetic poles
generated in defect portions in utilized to detect defects.
