ASTM A668 규정은 탄소강과 합금강재이면서 단조강 규정입니다.
일반 산업용이고, 압력 용기, 터빈, 기어 부품으로 사용됩니다.

A668 Class G 재질에서 탄소량의 지정도 없고, 인, 황 원소의
상한 값만 지정되어 있고, 항복강도 345 MPa minimum 강재입니다.

A668 Class GH 라고 쓰여지는 경우는 경도 Test를 한 경우에
제품과 검사 증명서에 marking 한 경우를 의미하는 약자입니다.

A668 Class G 재질은 A668 합금강 재질 중 가장 강도가 낮으며
Class G→Class H → Class J→Class K→Class L→ Class M→Class N

순서로 강도가 높아지며, A668 Class N 재료는 항복강도 965 MPa min 입니다.
A668 Cl.G 재질은 단조 후 Normalized, Annealed, NT 열처리 조건이 있을 수 있습니다.

※ Forging effect (鍛造效果 : 단조 효과)

단조의 목적(성형과 재질 개선)의 하나인 재질의 강인화 정도.
일반적으로 단련 성형비나 기계적 성질로 나타낸다.

※ 열처리 ( Heat Treatment : 熱處理)
철강재의 전체 또는 일부에 열 사이클을 적용하여 그 성질 또는 조직을 변화 시키는
일련의 작업으로, 철강재의 화학 조성은 이러한 작업 과정으로 변할 수 있습니다.
