Alclad Sheet 2024-T3 재질은, Alloy 2024 두랄루민 고강도 알루미늄을,
강도는 약하지만, 순 알루미늄으로 높은 내식성 알루미늄으로 Clad 한 재질입니다.

Alloy 2024 는 강도는 높지만, 내식성에서 순 티타늄 보다는 떨어지는 약점을, 강도는
약하지만, 내식성이 좋은 Alloy 1230, 99.30% 알루미늄으로 양면을 Clad 했습니다.

Alclad 2024 합금은 항복강도 270 MPa minimum 으로
탄소강 ASTM A36 항복강도 250 MPa minimum 보다 높은 강도이면서

Alclad 비중 2.77 g/㎤, 탄소강 비중 7.85 g/㎤ 와 비교하면 2.8 배 높은 비강도입니다.
이와 같은 비강도, 내식성 특징으로, 항공기의 구조용재 (structural)로 사용되는 재질입니다.

Alloy 2024 두랄루민은 Al-Cu 2000 series 합금으로, Al2Cu 또는 Al2CuMg
석출물에 의한 좋은 기계적 성질이지만, 낮은 내식성, 용접성, 압출성입니다.

QQ-A-250/5 는 Alclad 2024 판과 쉬트 규정으로, 심재 (core)는 Alloy 2024,
얇은 표층 (thin layers)은, 99.30% 이상의 알루미늄으로 양면을 붙인 재질 규정입니다.

고용체로부터 분리된 다른 상의 결정체가 나타나는 현상으로
합금 금속에서 나타나는, 탄소와 크롬이 결합된 Cr23C6, Mg2Si,
MgZn2, 와 같이 표기되는 금속간 물질을 말합니다.

이와 같은 현상은 스텐레스, 알루미늄 합금, 동 합금 등에서
나타날 수 있으며, 합금에 의해 또는 합금 재료의 열처리에 의해
이런 현상이 나타나면 금속의 강도와 경도가 높아집니다.

Solution Heat Treated and Then Cold Worked
Applies to products that are cold worked to improved strength, or in which
the effect of cold work in flattening and straightening is recognized in
applicable mechanical properties.

용제화 처리 후 냉간 가공한 것으로 열처리 후 강도를 증가 시키기 위해
냉간 가공을 하고, 충분히 안정된 상태까지 자연 시효 시킨 것을 말합니다.
