A638-Type 2 Grade 660 재질은 고온용으로 사용하는 철계 (鐵系 : Iron base)
Nickel Base, Cobalt Base 계열 중 철 약 56% 수준의 합금을 기본으로 하고

크롬과 니켈이 합금 된 초합금으로, 석출경화 열처리로 높은 강도 재료입니다.
ASTM A638 Type 1, A638 Type 2 구분은 고용화 열처리 온도에 따른 구분이며

ASTM A638 Type 1 — 고용화 처리 온도 900±15℃
ASTM A638 Type 2 — 고용화 처리 온도 980±15℃

ASTM A638 Type 1 — A453-660 Class A
ASTM A638 Type 2 — A453-660 Class B 재질과 대응 가능합니다.

※ Heat Resistance (내열성 : 耐熱性)
Property of materials that are used at above 550℃ (for steel : wustite point)
due to their excellent resistance to the effects of hot gases and products of
combustion as well as their resistance to the influence of molten salts and
molten metals but also showing good mechanical properties during short
and long-time stressing.

내열성은 550℃ 를 넘는 연소 가스의 영향에 저항성 성질 뿐 아니라 용융염,
용융 금속에도, 짧은 시간부터 오랜 기간 응력에 대한 영향에서, 좋은 기계적
성질과 내산화 내부식 성질입니다.
대개의 금속은 540~550℃ 수준을 넘는 온도 노출되면 미세 구조의 변화로
심한 연성 저하와 충격 강도의 저하가 있습니다.

※ Aging treatment (시효 처리 : Precipitation Hardening : 석출 경화)
Heat treatment applied to a ferrous product after solution treatment
bring its properties to the required level.
Note : It consists of heating to and socking at one or more
specified temperature, followed by appropriate cooling.

철강재가 필요한 성질을 가지도록 용체화 처리한 뒤에 적용하는 열처리.
이 처리는 가열한 뒤 정해진 하나 또는 두 온도에서 일정 시간 유지하는
균열화 처리 후 적절하게 냉각하는 공정으로 이루어집니다.
