32CrMo12 강재는 유럽의 Open die 합금 단조강 규격 EN 10250-3
규정 재질 중 하나로 외경 600 mm 대구경까지 규정된 강재입니다.

높은 열처리성으로 QT 처리시에는 100 ksi 수준의 높은 항복강도입니다.
EN 10085, 표면을 경화해서 사용하는 질화강재인 31CrMo12 재질과 비슷합니다.

재질명 32CrMo12, 재질 번호 1.7361 강재는, 대구경 기어, 스핀들, 샤프트로
사용되며, KS, JIS 기계 구조용 합금강 재질로는 비교 가능한 재질이 없습니다.

※ 자유 단조 (Open die forging : 自由鍛造)
특별한 금형을 사용하지 않고, 상하의 쇠판만으로 적열 단조에 의해
제조 된 단강품으로, 일반적으로는 적열 단조품이라고 합니다.
자유 단조에는 해머 또는 프레스가 사용됩니다.

Forging without using a special mold, smith-forged with top and
bottom anvils. It is called smith forging.
Hammer or press is applied for open die forging.
In ISO 6929, it [forged products (open die)] is defined as
“products obtained by forming steel at a suitable temperature by pressure,
using an open die to produce approximate shapes which do not
require further hot deformation.
They are generally machined to final shape”

※ Nitriding (질화 : Nitriding : 窒化)
Thermochemical treatment which is applied to a ferrous product
in order to produce surface enrichment in nitrogen
The medium in which the nitriding takes place shall be
specified e.g. gas, plasma, etc.

철강재 표면의 질소 농도를 높이는 열 화학적 처리.
질화에 사용되는 매질은 가스, 플라즈마 등으로 표시해야 한다.
표면 경화 방법의 한 가지 종류입니다.
