AMS 5520 규정 재질은 PH15-7 이라고 불리는, 석출 경화 열처리로
높은 강도가 가능한 내식성이 있는 스텐레스 재질로 Sheet, Plate,

Foil, Strip 형상의 제품으로, UNS S15700, AISI 632, ASTM A693-Type 632
재질과 대응되며, AMS 5520 Temper RH950 인 경우

최소 항복강도 200 ksi (1380 MPa) 의 높은 기계적 성질 재료입니다.
석출 경화 (precipitation hardening) 크롬 15%, 니켈 7% 합금 특징에

스텐레스강의 내(耐) 해수 부식성을 높여주는 몰리브덴 2% 합금강입니다.
이와 같은 합금 조성으로 별명이 PH15-7Mo 라고도 불리는 재질입니다.

AMS 5520 재질은 Condition 조건에 따라 항복강도는 아래의 최소 값으로
항복강도 외, 다른 기계적 성질도 참고해서 선정 사용합니다.

AMS 5520 Condition A : 450 MPa max
AMS 5520 Condition TH1050 : 1170 MPa
AMS 5520 Condition C : 1205 MPa
AMS 5520 Condition RH950 : 1380 MPa
AMS 5520 Condition CH900 : 1585 MPa

※ Mechanical properties (기계적 성질 : 機械的性質)
Various properties relating to mechanical deformation and
breaking such as tensile strength, yield point or proof strength,
elongation, reduction of area, hardness, impact value,
fatigue strength, creep strength, etc.

인장강도, 항복점, 연신율, 단면 수축율, 경도, 충격치, 피로 강도,
크리프 강도 등 기계적인 변형 및 파괴에 관계되는 성질을 말합니다.

※ Aging treatment (시효처리 : Precipitation Hardening : 석출 경화)
Heat treatment applied to a ferrous product after solution treatment
bring its properties to the required level.
Note : It consists of heating to and socking at one or more
specified temperature, followed by appropriate cooling.

철강재가 필요한 성질을 가지도록 용체화 처리한 뒤에 적용하는 열처리.
이 처리는 가열한 뒤 정해진 하나 또는 두 온도에서 일정 시간 유지하는
균열화 처리 후 적절하게 냉각하는 공정으로 이루어집니다.

※ 박 (箔 : Foil)
Generally, a rolled product rectangular in cross section of thickness equal to
or less then 0.2 mm (Formerly 0.15mm, changed to 0.20 mm for
international harmonization) There is an overlap in the thickness range
0.15~0.2 mm defined for foil and sheet. Foil products in this gauge are
supplied to foil product specifications.
