DH36 Steel Plate 는 선박을 건조할 때 사용하는 탄소강 강판 재질입니다.
355 MPa 수준의 항복강도 최소 값을 가지는 선박 건조용 강판으로는

고장력강에 속해, 고장력 선박 구조용 (structural) 탄소강 강판이면서
-20℃ 의 저온에서 50 joule minimum 의 CVN 충격 시험 보증 조건이 특징입니다.

Grade D 일반 선박 구조용 강판의 최소 항복강도가 235 MPa 라서 Mild 라고 하고
DH36 Steel Plate 강판이 이보다 강한 355 MPa 라서 고장력 (high tensile) 강판이라고 합니다.

DH36 강판은 대부분 선박 건조용으로 사용되므로, ABS, DNV, LR, VL 등의
인증 기관의 검사 조건부 검사 증명서 발행이 필수 조건으로 따르는 경우가 많습니다.

이런 경우 ABS DH36, DNV DH36, LR DH36, VL DH36 로, 선급기관을
동시에 표기해 선급 인증 강판임을 명확히 합니다.

※ Charpy V-Notch Impact Test (CVN : 샤르피 충격 시험 : 衝擊試驗)
Test to measure the absorbed energy, impact value, percentage
of brittle/ductile fracture, transition temperature, etc. with using
charpy impact testing machine in which test piece is supported by
two supports distant by 40mm so that the notch meets the middle
between supports and is broken by striking with one blow of
pendulum to the face opposite the notch.

샤르피 충격 시험기를 사용하여 시험편을 40 mm 간격이 있는 두 개의
지지대에 올려 놓고, 또한 노치부를 지지대 사이의 중앙에 놓고
노치부의 뒷면을 해머로 1회만 충격을 주어, 시험편을 파단 시키고
흡수 에너지, 충격치, 파면율, 천이 온도 등을 측정하는 시험을 말합니다.
