15-7Moly 합금은 석출경화 열처리로 높은 강도가 가능한 스텐레스입니다.
Solution Treated 에서는 항복강도 450 MPa minimum 이지만

15-7Mo TH1050 조건에서는 항복강도 1170 MPa minimum,
15-7Mo RH950 조건에서는 항복강도 1380 MPa minimum 으로

석출경화 열처리 조건에 따라, 기계적 성질이, 확 변하는 스텐레스입니다.
ASTM A693-632, UNS S15700, AISI 632 재질과 대응되며 고강도이지만

스텐레스 재질로서의 내식성은 중간 정도이고, 성질이 PH 17-7 과 비슷하고
석출경화 (precipitation hardening) + 화학 조성 15% 크롬, 니켈 7%

그리고 내 (耐) 해수부식성 향상 원소인 몰리브덴 (Mo) 합금으로, PH15-7Moly 라고도 불리고
경우에 따라서는 PH15-7, 15-7Mo 라고도 불리는 열처리형 고강도 스텐레스입니다.

※ Solution treatment (용체화 처리 : 溶體化處理, 고용화 처리 : 固溶化處理)
Heat treatment intended for dissolve previously precipitated
constituents and retain them in solution.

이전에 이미 석출 된 성분들을 재용해 되어 완전히 분해되
조직 내에 고용되어 다시 석출 되지 않게 하는 열처리를 말합니다.

※ 몰리브덴 (Mo : Molybdenum)
몰리브덴은 크롬과 함께 부동태를 안정화하고 내식성 향상 원소이고
페라이트상 안정화, 공식 및 틈새 부식 저항성을 좋게 합니다.
탄화물을 형성하여 고온 강도, 크리프 파단 강도를 높이며 인성을 좋게 하지만
2.5~3.5% 이상 합금 하면 내충격성, 내식성, 내고온 산화성을 저하 시킵니다.

※ Mechanical properties (기계적 성질 : 機械的性質)
Various properties relating to mechanical deformation and
breaking such as tensile strength, yield point or proof strength,
elongation, reduction of area, hardness, impact value,
fatigue strength, creep strength, etc.

인장강도, 항복점, 연신율, 단면 수축율, 경도, 충격치, 피로 강도,
크리프 강도 등 기계적인 변형 및 파괴에 관계되는 성질을 말합니다.
