Steel Name X17CrNi16-2 +QT800, Steel Number 1.4057 +QT800 강재는
마르텐자이트 스텐레스로 열처리에 의해 높은 강도가 가능하고

여기에 더해 냉간 인발 환봉 재료는 최저 항복강도 800 MPa minimum 입니다.
오스테나이트 재료보다 높은 탄소량으로 용접을 권하기 어려운 재질이고

내식성은 있지만, 해수 환경에 내식성은 1.4404 보다 떨어집니다.
X17CrNi16-2 재질은 +QT 조건 뿐 아니라, +A (annealed), +AT (solution annealed)

압연한 그대로 (as rolled) 열간압연, 냉간 압연재로도 사용됩니다.
냉간 인발 재료인 경우는 표면 공차 (정밀도)를 지정하는 (예를 들어 약호 h9)

경우도 있으며, 내식성과 고강도로 shaft 로 쓰이는 경우가 많습니다.
AISI 431, A276-Type 431 재질과 대응 가능합니다.

강재를 냉간 인발, 연삭, 절삭, 센터리스 또는 이들의 조합으로
마무리한 봉강으로, 봉강 뿐 아니라, 원형, 정방형,
육각형, 장방형 및 이형 등이 있습니다.

※ Martensitic Stainless Steels
Stainless steels which can be hardened by increasing carbon contents
of ferritic stainless steel and heat treatment to martensitic structure
SUS410 is representative.

담금질함으로서 마르텐자이트 조직으로 되어, 경화 시킬 수가 있는
스테인레스강으로 SUS410 — 13% 크롬강이 대표적입니다.
