SA479 규정은 보일러와 압력용기에 사용되는 원형, 육각 또는 각형 Bar 와
형강 제품으로 열간압연 또는 압출로 가공경화 과정으로 생산되는

오스테나이트계 스텐레스 중 1가지 종류로 SA479-316L 재질이 있습니다.
열간 처리 Annealed 조건에는 항복강도 170 MPa minimum 이지만

변형경화 또는 가공경화 후에는 항복강도 450 MPa minimum 입니다.
몰리브덴 합금으로 SA479-304L 보다 높은 해수 (sea-water)에 대한 내식성으로

공식과 점부식 (pitting/crevice corrosion) 저항성이 더 크고 또한 304 보다도
내(耐) 크리프 성질, 고온에서 응력에 의한 파괴 저항성이 더 큽니다.

열간 생산 상태에서는 비자성이지만,
가공경화 후 약간의 자성을 띌 수 있습니다.

※ Strain Hardening (변형경화 또는 가공경화, 變形硬化 또는 加工硬化 )
An increase in hardness and strength caused by plastic
deformation at temperature lower than the recrystallization range

재결정 온도 이하에서 소성 변형을 일으켜 경도와
강도를 증가 시키는 현상을 말합니다.

※ Recrystallization (재결정 : 再結晶)
Formation of new crystals or grains from deformed metal,
accomplished by suitable heat treatment.
A phenomenon in which, when crystals plastically in cold work
are heated, new crystal nuclei having on internal strain begin to
grow from the original crystal grains still retaining strain in the
process of decreasing internal stress, and new nuclei, increasing
in number and enlarging their sizes, gradually displace the original crystal grains.
The temperature at which recrystallization occurs is called
recrystallization temperature …. Fe (350~450℃), Ni (530-660℃)
This temperature is greatly influenced by the purity or composition
of metal and alloy, the degree of plastic strain in crystal and heating time, etc.
