C2700, Cu 65% Zn 35% Yellow Brass

C2700 재질은 별명이 Yellow Brass 이고, 구리 65%, 아연 35% 합금입니다.
KS D 5101, JIS H 3250 에서 동일한 Alloy Number 와 Symbol 을 사용합니다.

C2600 재질은 구리 7, 아연 3 합금 비율 재료와 용도는 비슷하지만
C2700 합금이 강도가 조금 더 높고, 반대로 전성과 연성은 조금 떨어집니다.

같은 황동으로 불리는 series C2800 재질은 구리 6, 아연 4 합금으로 C2700 보다
강도가 조금 높지만, 탈아연부식과 내식성이 조금 떨어지는 단점이 있습니다.

결국 강도로만 보면 C2600＜C2700＜C2800 순서로 높습니다.
C2700, C2600 재질은 냉간 단조성이 좋고, C2800 열간 가공성이 좋은 차이가 있습니다.

※ 탈아연부식(Dezincification : 脫亞鉛腐蝕)
Dezincification selectively removes zinc from the alloy,
leaving behind a porous, copper-rich structure that
has little mechanical strength — NACE

황동이나 금속에서 부식성 물질에 의해, 금속의 표면 또는
내부까지 탈 아연 되면서, 탈아연 금속은 다공질화 되어
(인간의 골다공증처럼) 강도를 상실케 되는 현상을 말합니다.

※ 열간가공 (Hot-working : 熱間加工)
가공 경화가 나타나지 않는 범위내에서 금속 또는 합금의 소성 변형을 말합니다.
