B247 6061-T6 재질의 ASTM B247 규정은 단조 제품 알루미늄 합금 규정으로
Die Forging, Hand Forging, Rolled Ring Forging 제품에 대한 규정입니다.

6061-T6 재질은 우수한 연성 (ductility), 인성 (toughness), 용접성, 내식성입니다.
이화학용 로터 (rotor), 자동차용 휠, 항공기용으로 사용됩니다.

6061-T6 알루미늄 합금은 단면과 형상이 복잡한 제품은 생산이 어렵고,
자연 시효처리로 강도를 높이는 재질이고, 보통은 압출 제품으로 쓰입니다.

※ Temper T6
Solution heat treated and artificially aged
용체화 처리 후 시효경화한 것을 말합니다.
용체화 처리 후 적극적인 냉간 가공을 하지 않고 인공시효 경화
처리한 것으로, 그 냉간 가공을 한 것의 효과가 작습니다.

※ Toughness (인성 : 靭性)
질기고 세며, 충격 파괴를 일으키기 어려운지, 어떤지의 정도를 말합니다.
충격에 파괴됨이 없이 충격을 흡수하는 능력으로, 인성이 낮은 강재는
깨지기 쉽고, 높은 인성 재료는 보통 연성도 높습니다.

because of the material’s toughness.
Impact absorbing ability of steel without fracture. It is measured by
energy absorbed in an impact bending test. But the area below the
stress-strain curve in tensile testing is also a measure of toughness.
Steel and metal, which is difficult to break has a high toughness.
Steel and metal , which high toughness normally has a high ductility and is
difficult to break with impact energy.
Steels and metals with low toughness are brittle.
