MIL-P-8184 규격 재료는 아크릴, 플라스틱에 대한 규정입니다.
MIL-P-8484 는 Type 와 Class 로 세분됩니다.

Type I – For “as cast” applications or for stretching.
Type II – For “as cast” applications only; not for stretching.

Class 1 – Standard moisture absorption resistance.
Class 2 – Improved moisture absorption resistance 로 구분됩니다.

민간 항공기의 창문, 군사용 비행기 케노피 용도로 사용되며, 미국의 국방규격
MIL-P-5425, MIL-P-25690 과 대응되기도 합니다.

제조사마다 자체 상표가 있으며 Poly84, ACRYLITE® GP 249, PLEXIGLAS® GS 249
MIL-P-8184 Type 1 Class 2 는 영국 DTD5592A 규격과 대응됩니다.

두께는 1.50~88.9mmt x 1200 x 2000mm, 2000 x 3000mmL size 입니다.
비중 1.19 g/㎤, 인장강도 80 MPa, 연신율 4.5% 수준입니다.

※ Tensile Strength (인장강도 : 引張强度)
Value of maximum load during tensile test divided by the
original sectional area of parallel portion.
As for materials in which the maximum load withstood by test piece
after yielding is lower than the upper yield point, it shall be the
value of the maximum load after yielding divided by original
sectional area of parallel portion.

인장시험에서 시험편의 평행부가 두 동강 날 때까지 견딘 최대 하중.

※ Elongation (연신율 : 延伸率)
The extension of metal in length when it is pulled from both sides.
It is a common mechanical parameter for metallic materials, which
is expressed as percentage of the original length. It is determined
by the tensile test.

금속재료의 기계적 성질을 나타내는 지표 중 하나로, 시험편을
양쪽에서 잡아당겨, 원래 표점 거리간 길이와 늘어난 길이를
백분율로 표시합니다.
