Incoloy®800 재료는 고온에서도 높은 강도를 가지는 Ni-Fe-Cr 합금입니다.
고온에서 우수한 내(耐) 크리프와 내파괴 성질, 내산화성, 내침탄 성질입니다.

고온 환경에 오래 노출 되어도 오스테나이트 구조를 유지하며 산화와
환원 환경에 저항성이고, 좋은 연성 (ductility) 재질입니다.

열교환기, 침탄설비, 발전소의 스팀 튜브 보호관, 열전대 보호관으로 사용되며
Incoloy®800 — Trademark of Special Metals Corporation 입니다.

UNS N08800, Alloy 800, ASTM B408 환봉 규격 Alloy 08800 과 대응되며
Plate, Sheet 재료는 ASTM B409, A240, A480 N08800 규정을 따릅니다.

※ Ductility (연성 : 延性)
The property of metals that enables them to be mechanically deformed
when cold, without fracture. In steel, ductility is usually measured by
elongation and reduction area is determined in a tensile test.

금속에 인장력을 줘 소성변형을 일으켰을 때, 끊어짐이 없이 선 (line)상으로
늘릴 수 있는 성질을 연성이라고 하고, 연성은 인장시험에서
연신율 (Elongation), 단면수축율 (Reduction area; RA)로 측정합니다.
물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변할 수 있는 능력입니다.
쉽게 말해 물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변형할 수 있는 능력입니다.

※ Creep rupture strength (크리프 파단 강도 : 破斷强度)
