SA182 F1 재질은 ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers : 미국 기계
기술 협회) 규정 재질로 보일러와 압력용기에 주로 고온용으로 사용되는 재료입니다.

SA182 F1 재질의 가장 중요한 특징은 Molybdenum 을 0.55% 수준 합금한
Moly 합금강재로, 몰리브덴은 원소는 고온 강도와 크리프 강도를 높여주는

역할을 해, 550℃ 수준까지 사용이 가능한 기계적 성질을 보이므로 EN P250GH,
P355GH 보일러 압력용기 규격 강재보다 더 높은 온도에서 사용이 가능합니다.

하지만 SA182 F1 강재의 수급이 원활치 않은 경우가 많고, P250GH, P355GH 강재보다 높은
온도 사용이 가능하고, SA182-F1 과 대응 가능한 EN 16Mo3 재질 사용 검토가 바람직합니다.

※ Molybdenum (Mo)
Its use as an alloying element in steel increase hardenability and
in low alloy steels reduces the risk of temper brittleness.
It is used in stainless steels as well as high speed steels.
It is increases the high-temperature tensile and creep strengths in steel.

몰리브덴은 경화능 향상 원소이고, 저합금강에서는 템퍼 취성을 감소시키는
역할을 합니다. 몰리브덴은 고속도강부터 스텐레스까지 합금 되는 원소입니다.
몰리브덴은 강에서 고온 강도와 크리프 강도를 높여주는 역할을 합니다.
