STPA12-SH 재질은 JIS G 3458 합금강 강관 파이프 규정 중 1가지 재질로
몰리브덴을 합금으로, 탄소강보다 내(耐) 고온 산화성을 향상시킨 재질입니다.

Molybednum 0.5% 수준 합금만으로도 내산화성, 고온강도, 크리프 강도
향상 효과를 가져와 550℃ 수준에서도 허용 인장응력 33 MPa 수준입니다.

STPA12-SH 재질 기호 중 “SH”는 Seamless Hot Finish (열간마무리 무계목강관)
약자이고, “SC”로 표기되면 Seamless Cold Finish (냉간마무리) 파이프가 됩니다.

재질적으로는 튜브 재질인 STBA12 보일러, 열교환기용 재질과 대응되며, 소요량이 작으면
공급성이 떨어져, EN 16Mo3 (이전 규격 15Mo3)까지 확장 검토가 바람직합니다.

※ Molybdenum (Mo)
Its use as an alloying element in steel increase hardenability and
in low alloy steels reduces the risk of temper brittleness.
It is used in stainless steels as well as high speed steels.
It is increases the high-temperature tensile and creep strengths in steel.

몰리브덴은 경화능 향상원소이고, 저합금강에서는 템퍼 취성을 감소 시키는
역할을 합니다. 몰리브덴은 고속도강부터 스텐레스까지 합금 되는 원소입니다.
몰리브덴은 강에서 고온 강도와 크리프 강도를 높여주는 역할을 합니다.

※ Creep resistance (내 (耐) 크리프성)
a property of resistance against a phenomenon in which
strain in the lapse of time under a fixed stress at a high
temperature called high temperature creep.

고온의 일정한 압력을 받는 환경에서 물질의 변형이
시간이 경과함에 따라 증가하는 현상을 고온 크립이라고 하고
이에 견디는 성질을 말합니다.
