AMS 7720 재질은 18-8 (304) 재질의 내식성 스테인리스
바와 와이어 제품이면서 항공 품질 규격 제품을 말합니다.
18% 수준의 크롬과 8% 수준의 니켈이라서 18-8이라고 부르고 Type 304 재질입니다.
오스테나이트 스테인리스로 높은 내식성과 냉간 가공성을 가지는 재질입니다.
Soft Annealed 조건에서는 항복강도 262 MPa minimum이지만
1/4 Hard Temper 조건에서는 310 MPa minimum의 기계적 성질입니다.
AMS 7720 재질은 ASTM A580-304, SAE MIL-S-7720 규정과 대응 가능하고
Spooled, Coiled, 와이어로부터 절단된 바 형상으로 공급입니다.
※ Aircraft Quality Steel (AQ Steel : 항공기강 : 航空機鋼)
AQ Steel is the most commonly specified quality for general aerospace applications.
It is defined in SAE specification AMS 2301 (자분탐상시험 : magnetic particle testing
: 磁粉探傷試驗), which outlines the procedure for determining compliance with
cleanliness requirements by the magnetic particle inspection method.
항공기강은 일반적인 항공기에 사용되는 재료로 SAE 규정의 자분탐상시험 규정인
AMS 2301 적용을 받으며, 이는 강재의 청정성에 관한 시험 규정입니다.
※ Softening, Soft annealing (연화, 연화 어닐링)
Heat treatment applied to austenitic steels. It consists of heating to a
high temperature follows by cooling sufficiently rapidly to preserve
a homogeneous austenitic structure on return to ambient temperature.
오스테나이트 강재에 적용되는 열처리로 고온에서 급랭 처리해
상온에서도 균질한 오스테나이트 구조를 가지도록 하는 열처리입니다.
