A2014-T6 재질은 낮은 비중 — 2.77 g/㎤ 이지만 인장강도 410 MPa
minimum 의 고강도이면서 우수한 절삭성을 가지는 알루미늄 합금입니다.

인장강도를 비중으로 나눈 값이 148 minimum 으로, 탄소강 강재
SS275 (SS400) 비중 7.85 g/㎤, 인장강도 400 MPa minimum 으로

비강도 (比强度 : strength-to-weight) 51 minimum 입니다.
이와 같이 A2014-T6 재질은 높은 비강도로, 항공기용 또는 유압 부품으로 쓰입니다.

다만 강도와 비강도는 높은 재질이지만 내식성에서는 순 알루미늄 1000 series
또는 6000 series 보다는 떨어지는 단점이 있는 석출경화성 알루미늄 합금입니다.

우수한 절삭성이지만 용접성은 떨어짐을 감안해야 하며, 시효 열처리로 높은
기계적성질 재료이고, KS D 6763 Bar, Wire 형상 규정이고 JIS H 4040 과 대응됩니다.

인장강도, 항복점, 연신율, 단면 수축률, 경도, 충격치, 피로 강도,
크리프 강도 등 기계적인 변형 및 파괴에 관계되는 성질을 말합니다.

상온 또는 상온에 가까운 온도에서 용질 원자의 확산이 일어나게
