EN19T BS970 규격은 영국 규격의 합금강재로 크롬과 몰리브덴 합금으로
QT 열처리하면 항복강도 680 MPa minimum (100 ksi 급) 수준 재료입니다.

좋은 인성 (toughness)와 연성 (ductility), 내(耐) 충격성. 내마모성 재료로
축, 기어 용도이고, 표면을 질화, 화염경화, 유도경화로 표면 경도를 높일 수 있습니다.

※ Toughness (인성 : 靭性)
The degree of difficulty in occurring impact breaking
because of the material’s toughness.

질기고 세며, 충격 파괴를 일으키기 어려운지, 어떤지의 정도를 말합니다.
충격에 파괴됨이 없이 충격을 흡수하는 능력으로, 인성이 낮은 강재는
깨지기 쉽고, 높은 인성 재료는 보통 연성도 높습니다.

※ Nitriding (질화 : Nitriding : 窒化)
Thermochemical treatment which is applied to a ferrous product
in order to produce surface enrichment in nitrogen
The medium in which the nitriding takes place shall be
specified e.g. gas, plasma, etc.

철강재 표면의 질소 농도를 높이는 열화학적 처리.
질화에 사용되는 매질은 가스, 플라즈마등으로 표시해야 한다.
표면경화 방법의 한가지 종류입니다.

※ 열처리( Heat Treatment : 熱處理)
철강재의 전체 또는 일부에 열 사이클을 적용하여 그 성질 또는 조직을 변화 시키는
일련의 작업으로, 철강재의 화학 조성은 이러한 작업 과정으로 변할 수 있습니다.

Series of operations in the course of which a solid ferrous product is totally or
or partially exposed to thermal cycles to bring about a change in its
properties and/or structure.

The chemical composition of the ferrous product may possibly be
modified during these operations.
