EN AW 4032 재질은 좋은 내식성과 4000 series 재질 중 가장 높은 수준의 강도,
고온과 저온에서도 좋은 물성으로, 피스톤과 경량 자동차의 엔진 부품으로 사용됩니다.

EN AW 4032 알루미늄 합금은 화학 조성만 규정돼 있어서, 비교 가능한 ASTM B247
Temper T6, 항복강도 290 MPa, 인장강도 360 MPa minimum의 기계적 성질입니다.

AW 4032 합금은 좋은 기계 가공성, 용접성, 저온인 영하 100℃에서 325 MPa
알루미늄으로서는 고온인 200℃에서 62 MPa 수준의 항복강도입니다.

AW 4032 재질은 주로 Temper T6이지만 경우에 따라 Temper F로 공급되며
QQ-A-367, AMS 4145, AMS4318, AMS 4319 규정과 대응되는 알루미늄입니다.

※ Poisson’s ratio (포아송비)
Poisson’s ratio is the ratio of transverse contraction to strain to longitudinal
extension strain in the direction of stretching force.

재료의 비례적 한계 내에서 축 변형으로부터 나오는 횡단 변형과 축 변형의 비율.
재료를 인정하면(당기면) 축 방향(길이 방향)의 늘어난 길이는
재료의 직경(가로방향)의 수축이 따릅니다.
포아송비(poisson’s ratio)의 수식은
Poisson’s ratio = 직경(가로방향)의 변형률(수축률)/세로방향의 변형률(신장률)
콘크리트는 0.1~0.2, 일반적인 강재는 0.25~0.35, 순동 0.33, 고무 0.5 수준입니다.
포아송비가 높으면 압축에 대한 저항력이 낮아집니다.
