SA333-6 재질은 ASME (미국기계기술자학회)의 저온용 (low-temperauure)
용접관 또는 심리스 파이프 형상의 강관 재질 9종류 중 1가지입니다.

SA333 Grade 6 재질은 저온 충격 시험 조건이 -45℃로 Grade 1과 함께
SA333 다른 재질보다 가장 저온 충격시험 온도가 높은 편으로

다른 재질의 경우는, 예를 들어 Grade 3 : -100℃, Grade 8, Grade 11 :
-196℃로, 저온성으로 보면 유럽 재질인 S355J2H : -20℃보다는 높고

압력용기용 튜브 재질 P265NL 재질 -40℃ 수준과 비교되는 수준의 재질입니다.
강재는 저온으로 가면 갈수록 강재가 깨지는 성질인 취성 (Brittleness : 脆性)이

높아지므로, 이런 경우 강재의 사용 환경에 적합한 재료의 사용 선정이 필요하고
SA333-6 보다 저온에서 사용하는 경우 SA333 계열의 니켈합금강을 사용해야 합니다.

There are carbon steel, low alloy steel, 2.5% nickel steel, 3.5 nickel steel
9% nickel steel, austenitic stainless steel, etc. according to use temperature.

저온하에서 쓰이는 용기, 설비 및 구조재로서 저온인성 및 용접성을 중시해서
제조된 강재로, 사용온도에 따라 탄소강, 저합금강, 2.5% 니켈강, 3.5% 니켈강
9% 니켈강, 오스테나이트 스테인리스강이 있습니다.

※ Brittleness (취성 : 脆性 : 메짐성)
The property of little deformability, hard and brittle in general,
It is usually compared by the strength of impact or the surface conditions of fracture
20℃＜ 0℃＜ -20℃＜-40℃＜-60℃＜-100℃ 저온으로 가면 갈수록
Brittleness(취성 : 깨지는 성질)는 급격히 증가하며, 구조체의 안전을 확보해야 할
철강구조체가, 온도가 내려가는 환경에서 버티는 성질이 중요합니다.
