IPE140 강재는 유럽 규격의 I-Beam (European I Beam)입니다.
아시아 규격인 KS, JIS 의 H-Beam 형상과 같습니다.

Web 의 높이 대비 Flange 폭이 좁아, Web 의 1/2 수준의 Flange 로
단위 중량이 크지 않으며, IPE140의 경우 12.9 kg/m 입니다.

IPE 계열에 주로 사용되는 재질은 EN 10025-2, S275JR, S355JR, S355J2 수준이고
물론 다른 재질도 주문 생산 공급은 가능하지만, 재고 판매 위주의 재질은 위의 3가지입니다.

S275JR — 항복강도 275 MPa minimum, 충격시험 20℃/27 Joule minimum.
S355J2 — 항복강도 355 MPa minimum, 충격시험 -20℃/27 Joule minimum로

S275JR 은 보통의 용접구조 또는 일반구조용으로 사용되며
S355J2 재질은 S275JR 강재 대비 고장력강으로 구분할 수 있습니다.

※ Impact Test (충격시험 : 衝擊試驗)
Test of evaluating toughness or brittleness of materials to examine
the magnitude of absorbed energy, fracture appearance, deformation behavior,
crack propagation behavior, etc. in breaking test piece by applying impact load.

According to the manners to apply impact load, there are various test methods
such as impact tensile, impact compression, impact bending, impact torsion, etc.
Further, according to kinds of testing machine to be used, they are also divided
into charpy impact test, I zod impact test, etc.

재료의 인성 또는 취성을 조사하기 위해, 시험편에 충격 하중을 가하여
파단시키고, 소요된 에너지의 대소, 파면의 양산, 변형거동, 균열의
진전거동 등에 따라 평가를 하는 시험을 말합니다.
충격하중 방법에 따라 충격인장, 충격압축, 충격 비틀림 시험등이 있고
사용되는 시험기의 종류에 따라, 샤르피 충격시험, 아이조드, 충격시험으로 구분됩니다.
